NATURAL HISTORY Beautiful images of flora and fauna with in depth, scientific captioning. Tight close-ups and broad scenes showing species relating to their habitat. Most North American ecosystems represented throughout the seasons. Especially strong coverage of arctic, mountain, woodland and desert habitats. All wildlife and plant images done on medium-format film for precise detail and clarity.
LANDSCAPES AND SCENICS Grand landscapes with intimate details covering most national parks, many national forests, national wildlife refuges, wilderness areas and assorted other public lands. Large-format images vividly bring the natural world to viewers.
AERIALS All aerials done on medium format film with a Ken-Lab Gyrostabilizer placed beneath the camera. Natural landscapes emphasize texture and contour of the land and are excellent for illustrating geographic and geological texts. Human culture is depicted through cityscapes and agricultural scenes.
AIRPLANES Extensive collection of air-to-air images taken over spectacular landscapes. Most bush planes represented including de Havilland Beavers and Otters, Cessna 140s, 170s, 180s, 185s, and 206s, Piper Super Cubs and a variety of older Stinsons, Wacos, Travelairs and Norsemen. Planes on wheels, skis and floats. All images taken with gyrostabiling equipment.
DOGS AND PETS More than 16,000 medium-format transparencies depicting the 125 most popular AKC dog breeds in natural and studio settings. Images show behavior and interactions with humans. Many adorable puppy images. All dogs well-groomed and adhere to breed standards.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURE AND ECOTRAVEL People enjoying the out-of-doors including camping, hiking, skiing (cross-country and backcountry downhill), snowshoeing, canoeing, kayaking, ice climbing, canyoneering, whitewater rafting, bicycling and fishing (fly and spin cast). Ecotravel includes sky trekking the Alaskan Bush, dory trip through the Grand Canyon, assorted remote lodge adventures, etc.
