Fell in love instantly, for the 20th time that day. What a shoot. What a country! Ron Zacapa rum is one of the finest in the world. Comes from Guatemala and is most unusual in that it is made from 'first press' sugarcane, not from cane molasses like most rums. Try the 23 year old Ron Zacapa, phew, lovely. The grass weave sleeve on each bottle is an ancient Mayan design, and hand woven my Maya women today in a cottage industry brought about by rum production. Nice.
