The Haida Heritage Centre is the premier cultural centre and museum of the Haida people, and is situated just south of the site of a historical village in Kay Llnagaay (pronounced kie-il-na-guy, which means "Town of Sea Lions"). The Haida Heritage Centre is comprised of the Haida Gwaii Museum with both permanent exhibits and temporary exhibition space, a museum gift shop, a performance house for hosting concerts and gatherings, the canoe house, the Bill Reid Teaching Centre, a carving house and the ?ay Bistro.
