Comments: Invasion, led by Fergus MacErc & his brothers Angus & Lorne consolidated existing Scottish/Irish presence leading to first Scottish kingdom of Dalriada, running from c500 to 850 AD. The first Christian coronation, that of Aidan in 574,and officiated over by St Columba, is said to have taken place here.

England,Suffolk, Snape, the Maltings concert hall,1967 Aldeburgh Festival first performance by boys of Vienna Boys Choir of 'Golden Vanity' , written by Britten for the Vienna boys at their request-they asked there be no girls in the work. It is described as A Vaudeville for boys and piano, OP.78. Libretto by Colin Graham, and is based on old West Country story of cabin boy who saves his ship from pirates.
