Comments: The sheer face of Angel Wing overlooks Grinnell Lake in the Many Glacier area of Glacier National Park. The lake exhibits the characteristic turquoise color that indicates its source is glacier derived, in this case that being Grinnell Glacier. Partially obscured behind Angel Wing is Mt Gould, with the Garden Wall extending to the right, while in the distance Piegan Mountain can be seen just left of center. The Garden Wall is part of Montana’s Lewis Range and forms the Continental Divide here, all of which is part of the greater Rocky Mountains. Image also available without hiker.
