Frozen Ice on Rose Bush Netting as Backdrop to Autumn Remnant Rose Leaves IMG_0051 This week, dripping water off the roof fell onto my perennial memory garden created for Jed-Boy Wonder last summer after his death, after he had guarded all of our living plants from the deer and forest wildlife with great energy and love, as only a devoted German Shepherd can do! The rosebushes formed an icicle palette of pattern, shining in morning sunlight to create a backdrop for the solitary leaves, still clinging to a delicate branch -- rather like my memories of Jeddy -- nostalgic and beautiful.
