Caption: Yellow-headed Manakin, Chloropipo flavicapilla is a rare range restricted Andean endemic songbird of the Andes in Colombia and Ecuador. threatened due to habitat loss, this species prefers the low levels of dense montane forest from 1200 to 2400 meters in elevation. Like other members of the genus Chloropipo, this species is not known to be very vocal, and it is rather poorly known overall. VULNERABLE. Restricted-range species: present in Colombian Inter-Andean Slopes EBA, Chocó EBA and Ecuador, East Andes EBA.
