Comments: The Southern Pacific steam locomotive No.18 is on loan from the Eastern California Museum to the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Built in 1911 by Baldwin Locomotive Works Southern Pacific No.18 is an original oil-fired 4-6-0 steam locomotive. This is the first operation of Southern Pacific No.18 on a railroad since the locomotive was retired in 1954.
