Comments: Last remaining slave house along the west coast of Barbados in the Caribbean. It was built of coral and is still sturdy. It sits next to a sugar cane field. Several slaves would sleep on the dirt floor during slave times. The roof is not original but the coral structure of the building is. Slavery in Barbados ended in 1834.
