Caption: Three Color Morphs of African Bush Viper / Variable Bush Viper (Atheris squamigera / Syn: A. squamiger) Arboreal Venomous Snake found in the Rainforests of west and central Africa. Strongly hemotoxic venom, with no antivenin. Green is the most common color morph, but this highly variable species also occurs in gold, red, blue, orange, brown, & black morphs.
