Comments: Woman shows pearl necklaces of varying colors at Pearl Tourist Village floating in Ha Long Bay. Oysters are cultivated and harvested and their pearls removed to create jewelry. Ha Long Bay in north Vietnam is home to the largest collection of karst limestone islets in the world. The name Ha Long translates as "descending dragon," referring to an ancient legend explaining how the bay came to be formed.
