Comments: These are first instar young of the Vinegaroon, or Whipscorpion, Mastigoproctus giganteus, being carried on the back of the female. Arachnida, Uropygi. Tamaulipas, Mexico. This is the Vinegaroon often seen in deserts of the American Southwest. It also occurs widely through northern Mexico.
