Comments: A narrow ribbon of blue separates Boquillas, Mexico from Big Bend National Park. Each day, however, despite legalities since 9/11, Mexicans from this village wade the river to sell items they've made. It's illegal, but most seem to turn their heads. Just a few years ago, boats would transport American visitors to the village for dinner and music.
