OVERVIEW Now in its thirty-third year, AA/ES is a niche photo agency specializing in natural history subjects. THE ARTISTS In addition to representing more than 150 individual nature photographers, AA/ES also handles the work of Oxford Scientific, a world-renowned stock house based in England.

NATURAL HISTORY As the name implies, a specialty of the collection is animal photography, from amoeba to zebra. The Animals Animals division covers mammals, birds, fish, amphibians, reptiles, crustaceans and insects, as well as microscopic life forms. The Earth Scenes division encompasses all other nature-related subjects, including landscapes, plants, flowers, weather, geology, habitats, national parks, ecology and sports.

GENERAL STOCK Domestic critters from cute kittens to draft horses are well-represented. Images of people interacting with animals and nature, as in backpacking, paper training a puppy or pursuing outdoor sports like kayaking and rock climbing. Also, agriculture, industry, travel destinations, medical and scientific topics, transportation and abstracts.
