OVERVIEW Our goal is to "Promote ecological awareness through creative photography." We work primarily in New England, capturing the essence of the region's wild places through nature and adventure photography. Most of our photos are shot for book projects, while on assignment for non-profit conservation groups, or for other editorial and commercial clients. "We start where the road ends."
NATURAL HISTORY New England wilderness landscapes: Coast, mountains, forests, wetlands. Some western mountain and desert landscapes. Wildflowers, ferns, abstracts and patterns.
GENERAL STOCK New England coastal towns, rural scenes, hiking, biking, paddling. Lighthouses. Young children in the outdoors.
ENVIRONMENTAL Clear-cutting in New England's northern forest (including aerials), paper mills, commercial ground fishing (NH). Windpower.

PHOTOGRAPHIC PLANS We are continuing to work on our year-long book project documenting the natural and cultural history of New England's longest river, the Connecticut River. This river passes through all of New England's geographic types, from the boreal forests on New Hampshire's border with Quebec, past the White Mountains, through the richest agricultural lands in the region, and to the tidal estuary at the mouth of the river on Long Island Sound.
