THE FILE 100,000+ chromes and a rapidly expanding database of digital files captured on Nikon D2X cameras. The file has been expanded by the addition of photos by Tom Kitchin and Victoria Hurst, two of Canada's premier wildlife photographers, who also bring a strong natural history background to their work. For all of us, quality continues to be our focus.
NATURAL HISTORY North American wildlife coverage (almost all major species of birds and mammals), including behavior, portraits and individual species in their natural habitat. This coverage includes numerous endangered and threatened species. Growing coverage of foreign species, including jaguar, panda, penguins, tigers, lions, elephants.
GENERAL STOCK Canadian Rockies, Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. Strong coverage of Pacific Northwest old-growth forests and California sequoia trees.
SPECIALTIES Bald eagles, wolves, elephants, wild cats (cougar, lynx, bobcat, Florida panther, jaguar, lion, tiger). Over the past 21 years we have also established a reputation for quality coverage of many other individual species, including mountain goat, beaver, deer, sea otter, elk, badger, ruffed grouse, black bear, kaibab squirrels, grizzlies, orca whales, red fox, coyote, more.
RECENT COVERAGE Serengeti herds, Indian one-horned rhino, Indian elephant, Sumatran tiger, giant panda. Closer to home we have been updating files on beaver, bison, salmon and wild horses.
CREDITS Hundreds of credits annually, including most major natural history publications throughout the world. All credits represent multiple sales. Magazines: Audubon, Field & Stream, National Geographic, National Geographic World and Traveler, National Wildlife, Nature's Best, Outdoor Photographer, Ranger Rick. Sole Photographers: 12 books, including three on eagles, two on pandas and one on sea otters.
