Summer is coming to a close

Fall is around the corner and we could not be happier. The cooler weather and colorful trees are our favorite time of year to photograph.

Glade Creek Grist Mill in West Virginia is normally beautiful the second week of October if the summer was dry. Let's hope for dry weather so the leaves will be worth photographing.

Our final "Wings of Fancy" butterfly workshop is mid-August. There were over 60 species to catalog on our last visit.

October will begin our speaking engagements. The first will be in Manassas for the local camera club. Contact us for more details.

Pat returns to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks in September to finalize our work on the Yellowstone/ Grand Teton Tater book.

We are both shooting every chance we get, but like many of you we continue our daily routine.

Check the site for new photos! Hope to see you in the field. Remember, beautiful nature photography does not have to be difficult.

Your Taters,

Shirley and Pat Collins
