Maritime images are in the permanent collection of Pennsylvania's Independence Seaport Museum. McGrail has been shooting for top art directors, designers and picture editors for thirty years. He teaches photography at the Community College of Philadelphia.
COMMENTS A commissioned officer in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era. Aerial photography skills grew from experiences as a paratrooper platoon leader in the famed 82nd Airborne Division. A life member of the 82nd Airborne Division Association. McGrail's military experience has instilled a deep appreciation for U.S. history which has led to an ever growing file of images on American history topics.
